General

Do you have a token?

Yes, we have created dlcBTC, an ERC-20 token, and will launch our native token - $DLC - in late 2024 to decentralize our Attestor network.

What is your TVL?

While we don't have a native token yet, we enable Bitcoin to be used in DeFi through dlcBTC, our cross-chain solution. dlcBTC achieved a TVL of $1 million within the first month of launching on Arbitrum.

What is the difference between Babylon and dlcBTC?

Babylon is a monolithic system with its own chain, while dlcBTC leverages existing chains and protocols for yield.

Is BitGo a safe custodian?

Centralized custodians like BitGo are subject to regulatory oversight and have limited deposit insurance, while dlcBTC provides decentralized self-custody.

Does BitGo's deposit insurance make it safer?

Unlike our comprehensive risk management strategy, BitGo's insurance covers only a fraction of total assets and does not provide direct claims to depositors.
